A contemporary black metal planter, which will contrast well against the soft contours of the box balls, bamboos, hostas and various soft petals of wild flowers & leaves in your garden or on your patio.
These long handmade planters are fantastic on your drive, your rooftop garden, patio, surrounding the hot tub, to match or contrast your static or touring caravan these hard wearing, metal planters add that splash of colour, and of course I don't sell to garden centres, I make the majority to order, so these aren't mass produced you can be assured that not everyone in your neighbourhood will own them as well!
This planter has a black rubber safety edge on the top rim, which is easily removed once in situ if you prefer, but I include as the edges can be sharp.
I hand rivet the rear seams in place with matching rivets (if available otherwise plain uncoated ones are used) .
They are are of a sturdy construction, being all coated steel however NOT watertight.
I would recommend you line the inside with a pond liner or even just some household tin foil prior to planting.
The planter is made from stock material, it is quite sizeable so not feasible to post off-shore so UK Mainland only.

All of the planters are handmade, in Grantham Lincolnshire using prime industrial roofing materials, many are made from material which would of otherwise been destined for the scrap metal bin, this does mean the the finished item may have the odd scratch or dent but nothing detrimental to its planter use, these off cuts are from the roofing sheets, and cladding materials which we supply to both the general public and the industrial roofing trade.
Items made from metal which otherwise would of been scrapped are photographed, and available for immediate despatch, the prices also reflect the reduced cost of the raw material.
I make this point, because I am more than happy to accept custom requests for bespoke sizes and colours, but it must be understood that I may have to use prime material (not off cuts) which will impact the cost of the item.

Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery & Returns of standard items;
All deliveries are made by our courier, currently APC. They provide a next day service across Mainland UK. If however you are located offshore, or in Northern Ireland delivery will be via Parcel Force so please allow up to 14 days in this instance.
Should you wish to return an item, please contact us before returning items. If the item is damaged or faulty you will be offered a replacement.
If the item is simply "unwanted" the cost of returning the item will be at the buyers expense, it must be received in a resalable condition at which point a full refund will be given for the cost of the item.
If my Order isn't arrived what do I do?
In the unlikely event of the order not arriving, we ask that you check with your local depot initially.
For APC deliveries you will be provided with a courier consignment number which you can use on the APC website to locate your parcel.
For Royal Mail (parcel force) despatch this will be your local Royal Mail Delivery Office.

Can you Gift Wrap my Order?
Absolutely we can, just select the Gift Wrap Service from the list of items for sale, and rest assured your item will be gift wrapped prior to despatch.
I would like Drainage Holes adding, is this possible?
I am not able to add drainage holes to the Planters or Window Boxes any longer, they aren’t really needed. Please do remember that the planters in most cases are only fixed on 1 base edge, and loose on the other 3 so drainage holes are unnecessary hence not offered as standard.
Custom and personalised orders
I can certainly do custom orders, please be aware however, the material may need to be ordered in especially so the price may be more than the planters in the shop, also I am not a robot so please allow a degree of tolerance with the measurements -/+5mm I do may best but sometimes the metal doesn’t play ball :)
Obviously, unless a serious error has been made, or damage in transit custom orders are non returnable.
