A sizeable metal planter, designed for balcony planting, for the Urban gardener. This large planter is perfect for plants that require a deeper area to grow, like root veg, just imagine pulling out your fresh spring onions, potatoes or carrots for a lovely soil to plate in a matter of minutes entertaining experience.

The base is designed to allow water to drain, as it is unsecured on 3 bottom edges.
In a perfect world lay a thin layer of gravel down and rest the planter on it, this ensures that you get good air circulation across the base.
The planter can just have a grow beg dropped in and you are good to go, or you could line with a pond liner, place a layer of pebbles along the bottom and then fill with soil, there are no hard and fast rules so whatever works for you.
The material used is 0.7mm gauge, high quality industrial roofing metal (usually seen on industrial roofs and side cladding on industrial buildings) the finish is either smooth or a leather grain effect depending on the colour.
They are extremely hard wearing, being recycled repurposed roofing material transformed into unique handmade metal planters.
I add a removable, rubber trim to the top edge, which is easily removed once in situ if you prefer not to use it but it is there to protect hands and arms against any sharp corners or edges.
The rear seams are hand riveted in place but the base is always left unsecured on 3 edges.
The material would of been destined for the scrap heap, so might have the odd visual ding, scratch or blemish nothing that is detrimental to its performance I do may best to avoid them!

Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery & Returns of standard items;
All deliveries are made by our courier, currently APC. They provide a next day service across Mainland UK. If however you are located offshore, or in Northern Ireland delivery will be via Parcel Force so please allow up to 14 days in this instance.
Should you wish to return an item, please contact us before returning items. If the item is damaged or faulty you will be offered a replacement.
If the item is simply "unwanted" the cost of returning the item will be at the buyers expense, it must be received in a resalable condition at which point a full refund will be given for the cost of the item.
If my Order isn't arrived what do I do?
In the unlikely event of the order not arriving, we ask that you check with your local depot initially.
For APC deliveries you will be provided with a courier consignment number which you can use on the APC website to locate your parcel.
For Royal Mail (parcel force) despatch this will be your local Royal Mail Delivery Office.

Can you Gift Wrap my Order?
Absolutely we can, just select the Gift Wrap Service from the list of items for sale, and rest assured your item will be gift wrapped prior to despatch.
I would like Drainage Holes adding, is this possible?
I am not able to add drainage holes to the Planters or Window Boxes any longer, they aren’t really needed. Please do remember that the planters in most cases are only fixed on 1 base edge, and loose on the other 3 so drainage holes are unnecessary hence not offered as standard.
Custom and personalised orders
I can certainly do custom orders, please be aware however, the material may need to be ordered in especially so the price may be more than the planters in the shop, also I am not a robot so please allow a degree of tolerance with the measurements -/+5mm I do may best but sometimes the metal doesn’t play ball :)
Obviously, unless a serious error has been made, or damage in transit custom orders are non returnable.
